My Childhood Favorites--Gone!
What's with all the people dying? There outta be a law!
Don Adams, Bob Denver, Louis Nye, Nipsey Russell--Charles Rocket?!? All my TV pals from my callow youth are biting the big one (and I mean that most respectfully). I thought it was all over when Rodney Dangerfield went to The Great Beyond, but eventually I got ::sniff:: over it. Now there's this wave of talent permanently visiting The Other Side, and I can't help thinking that I may--MAY--be getting old(er).
(For fans of Max Headroom, Charles Rocket was the guy who played the sleazy network exec [wow! What an acting performance! Who would ever think a tv executive could be sleazy! Well, whatever!] in the first episode, and made a guest appearance further into the season. He was also in several TV shows and in movies)
Not to mention James Doohan and Pat McCormack!
